The reason to call one contractor instead of three. Everything below runs under Maryland Home Improvement Commission licence #115553, and all of it is work we do ourselves.

- KitchensCabinets, counters and backsplash. We set the boxes level before anything gets scribed to the wall, because a cabinet run that starts out of level never comes back.
- Bathroom RemodelingFull gut to finished tile. Waterproofing behind the board, niches framed into the studs while the wall is still open, and pans sloped to the drain before a single tile is set.
- Basement FinishingFraming, insulation, drywall and trim on an unfinished basement — plus the bathroom, if you want one down there.
- AdditionsAdding square footage to an existing house: footings, framing, roof tie-in and the interior finish that makes it read as part of the original.
- DrywallHanging, taping and skim coat. Flat walls are a function of how much time goes into the third coat, and we take it.
- PaintingInterior and exterior, including the three-storey elevations most crews would rather not set a ladder against.
- CarpentryTrim, stairs, railings and built-ins. The finish work where a sixteenth of an inch is visible from across the room.
- FlooringTile, vinyl plank and laminate over a subfloor we check for flatness first — because no floor covering hides a bad substrate for long.
- Hardwood FloorsSolid and engineered hardwood, including stair treads, herringbone layouts and patching into existing floors so the seam disappears.
- DoorsInterior and exterior doors hung plumb in the opening, shimmed properly, so they still latch cleanly two winters later.
- Plumbing RepairSupply and drain repairs, fixture swaps and the rough-in that goes with a bathroom or kitchen remodel.
- DecksNew builds and rebuilds — footings, posts, a properly flashed ledger and joists at the right spacing. This is where doing it over gets expensive.
